Project 2 - Recreating Ake Demo (romantic version)

Our project 2 was to recreate this ake demo soap commercial. We were split into groups of two in class and I was in the group that had to recreate the romantic version of the Thai commercial. Syaqiel and I were the actors for this and the rest of my group was involved with production.

This was then printed out to make it easier to film each scene and identify the best take for each scene.

After that, I started to color correct the video. I then added the recorded audio, replacing the original.

There was still a lot of noise and uneven sound volumes thus I had to add voice reduction and make the volumes more or less the same.

I decided to add sounds from freesounds.org and added calculator sounds in the beginning, music, heartbeat and a thump to make video more interesting and close to the original commercial.

The process of editing sound is seen below.

This was a reference for the exercise we had to to earlier. We were tasked to color grade it to match this.
